CargoBeamer's mission is to improve the environment with innovative and cost-effective solutions to shift freight transport from road to rail. CargoBeamer railcars are open to all kind of semi-trailers (including non-cranable ones), swap bodies and containers. On average, we save around 80% emissions compared to road transport (calculated by branch leader EcoTransIT). Cargo terminals save more then 60% CO2 on average compared to a conventional reachstaker terminal. Also, they can load and unload a full train in 20 minutes (3-4 hours are the usual industry standard). Since April 2022, CargoBeamer offset all our transport emissions with gold standard certificates and now offer net carbon zero transportation already. CargoBeamer commits to be completely net carbon zero by 2030.
